I am also currently help out iskultrip work on the Lucky Dog 1 BLAST manga, as they are down a translator for the project. Please check it out if you haven’t! I didn’t much like the manga before (manga adaptations have a bad track record and I wasn’t a big fan of the art / exaggerations), but after chapter 11, I’ve gained new respect for the manga when it started expanding on game events and showing more of the characters. Chapter 12 is the newest chapter, although Chapter 13 should be coming soon (ie, not 2 months from now, hopefully 8D).
As some of you may have noticed, there was a bit of a debacle below with the Youtube videos I uploaded last time. There is apparently a very good reason why there are no 3D model videos on Youtube, lol. Anyways, after some contact, user siratama0 (aka Kanishibu, creator of the Hundred-Year Solitude and Love Letter videos) has very generously given me two links to two of her 3D model videos that were tests for her 3D models.
- BAD EGG – All pairings, 3D model test (contains speculation for Bad Egg. Not really spoilery, but if you’re sensitive to hype…!)
- SWEET DEVIL – Gian only, 3D model test (contains raunchy costume…?)
Please be aware both can be considered NSFW, lol.
I have also uploaded the new PV for Please World, an older HitoshizukuP Vocaloid song that was originally released for IA.
Finally, for Sorcerous Stabber Orphen fans out there, I would like to ask your help. I know someone who reads my blog here has mentioned .pdfs of the books before, and I was wondering if I could take you up on that offer, since it’ll be easier to translate (and use the pictures) from the file than from the book itself. I hope someone gets back to me soon! Otherwise, I will slowly type one-handed on the keyboard and take iPhone pictures of the images ^^;;

I can’t even tell you how excited I would be to finally be able to read the novel from Orphen! I was actually introduced to your site via a link posted when I was previously scouring for Oprhen translations. I’m a devoted fan of Tennenouji’s work, I’ve bought all the art / visual fan books / LD1 manga that come across my way to support the artist. Today in the mail arrived the volume #3 of LD1 Blast Manga I’ve ordered 😀 (covers chapter 11 up to 15) I’m not gonna be a spoiler here so I’ll just say that as a Giulio’s fan here the next chapters are AWESOME!!!! I hardly know a thing about Japanese, learning the language is far worse than I’ve expected 😦 it’s going to take me a couple of years to dominate it so I’ve just related the captions with your translations, so far the manga is doing a pretty good job mixing all the routes from the game and giving each character the importance they deserve… I was wondering if providing raws/scans of the chapters 13, 14 and 15 would speed up the translation process, let me know…

You may curse me for this, but have you heard of Miracle Not-on or Hana Awase? Both are drawn by Yura (the artist). The first is by Tennenouji (it’s BL), while the second is an otome game (and thus not by Tennenouji). The first is fun. I’m in the middle of playing the second but it is promising =3

I assume by other game version you mean Bad Egg? …It would be presumptuous to say that by the time I finish my translations, Bad Egg still wouldn’t be out (It’ll take about two years to finish LD at this point…), but if I were to say what’s next (assuming BE still isn’t out), it’d be … LHL. I’m actually trying to decipher the drama CDs right now. It and the SS are done when I have free time. I’ll probably try to do more in the Giulio => Bernardo transition. ._. Sorry I can’t be more definite?! XD

Hey Di, I know you asked about the 4th volume? If you go on iskultrip’s site, you’ll see their comment about vol. 4. The scanner has a peculiar way of scanning, so they might not want you to scan it, but if you want, you could maybe donate something?

I’ve pre-ordered volume #4 and according to the tracking number of the package it already arrived here on the 15th but the local postal service is “processing the package to be delivered” the wait is killing me!! The second I receive it I’ll start scanning the pages of the whole volume and forward them to Iskultrip 😉

btw i want to ask,when you play the game the second time(or another route). Do you guys enjoyed and read the whole texts again? or you skip all the text for the smexy parts ?
. I just finish Ivan route and doing Giulio route right now.Somehow i’m can’t really enjoy it like the first time anymore ( reasonably). I just want a magic that make me forget that i’ve played this and enjoy it again lol.
Really appreciate you and Tennenouji for create this beautiful story(and music too,i’m really like the track that plays when you open the game “Plymouth Forget”)
This is the first time i play a BL game that i don’t care much for the smexy parts.I like the characters and their interactions , stories enough that, if those scenes were not there. It’s not even important for me. Thank you ^^

It’s always true that the second or third time won’t rival the first. It’s true with anything, really. For me, I still enjoy it even after overanalyzing every single thing being said (hazard that comes with translating) in a “I really appreciate the characters” kind of way.
Lucky Dog 1 was my second BL game. My first was Togainu no Chi. You can see how I had the mistaken impression at the time that “Wow, BL games are so much more story-oriented than het games! I ❤ them!"
…Hah. Yeah, right.
But it's because that both of these games were so "plot, with pr0n on the side" rather than PWP (Plot? What plot?) that I got into slash in the first place. It's something I really appreciate from LD. (Now … the same can't be said for its sequels, lol)

By sequels, I’d meant LHL and IFG. They’re not really sequels but rather side games (or gaidens, if you’re familiar with that term).
While you can argue LHL is not PWP, the same cannot be said of IFG XD

Damn… I knew something was fishy when I saw that the first volume had only 5 chapters and your translation had six. Should’ve suspected sooner! 😛
Anyway, I’m still looking for the scans, I’ll post ’em here as soon as I find them. And BTW here’s all 13 volumes of Mubouhen http://novelcs.blogspot.com.ar/2012/11/novel-majutsushi-orphen-mubouhen.html (heard it’s not as good as Haguretabi, but what can I say? I’m a completionist XD)
