Lucky Dog 1 makes its move to Android phones today, on the gracious day of Luchino’s birth lol.

I know some people have been asking about it, and, well, it’s happened! Yay!
I will be bothering some people on what it looks like, lol, since I don’t have an Android myself, but I am going to guess that it has all the SS releases currently on the iOS as well. Also, information appears to be interchangeable between Android and iOS versions. I don’t know how they accomplished that, but there ya go. The save data is also upped to a cloud service, so if your phone breaks for some reason, you can continue playing where you left off on another device.
Since I’m going to assume that the two platforms work the same (until further notice), here’s the information on the iOS game. And also how to play the iOS version.
Also, a heads up to all cosplayers! Please drop a line if you’re going to Otakon! It would be fun to have an LD gathering, haha.

I’ve received some hesitating comments based on … don’t want to compete due to lack of confidence, shipping, and such, and I understand these are real issues. But I also want to make the contest as accessible to everyone, so I am willing to accommodate. If you want to use a fake name, OK. If you don’t want your art to appear in the book, fine. About the only thing I DO want is some proof that “a person” participated, so I would want either a name or the art in the book, but otherwise, I can fudge things around.
Participants is still at 20 btw.

Las partes primera y segunda del juego son gratuitos. La tercera parte no lo es. Las imágenes son para comprar la tercera parte para cada ruta. “P880” significa que usted necesita 880 puntos para comprar la ruta. Usted debe ir a otra pantalla para primeros puntos de compra, y luego usar esos puntos para comprar las rutas.

Ehhmm cuando voy a la pantalla de puntos de compra…me sale el mensaje: ”Lo sentimos,la aplicacion se ha interrumpido,inténtalo de nuevo”
Después lo vuelvo a intentar y me sale lo mismo,tengo que esperar una actualización aparezca para que se arregle este problema? 😦

En este momento, el programa está teniendo problemas con países distintos de Japón, sobre todo con la adquisición de puntos. Voy a hacer otro post cuando tennenouji ha publicado una actualización de la situación o publicado un patch.

You’ll have to be more specific, lol. I can try to help?… (Though, first, have you updated to the latest version? There were some problems with points in the past that were fixed in an update about a month or two ago.)

Yes, this does sound like something you have to fix via the update. This was the problem many were having if they did not live in Japan. Please get the latest version of the program.
To buy parts of the game, first go to the purchase points page, and then buy a package. You then have that many points. Then you can purchase the various parts of the visual novel by just pressing the button of the part you want. After a short confirmation, the points should automatically be used, and then the download will start.

A few days ago? Hmm, then you should already have the latest. Check your app store or the Android equivalent first, and if theres no further updates for the Lucky Dog app available, then please EMAIL me your ID number for the app (I think I have a guide for how to find this on my site. If not, please wait for later today) and what country you live in. And what device you are using (iPad 2, Samsung blahblah, etc.). I will contact tennenouji with the question.

Clicking the main icon to buy points crashes the app, but clicking the thing I want to buy, then choosing the “not enough points, would you like to buy more points?” option allowed me to make a payment, but then it didn’t buy the item and I still have zero points.
Sorry to bother you with a technical question, but I don’t understand Japanese well enough to contact support myself. I hope you can help!

I think the first question is, do you have the latest version? The problem with crashing when you try to purchase points had happened before but should have been fixed in an update. (You are talking about the iOS version and not the Android version, right?)
The second question … Hm. Check your iTunes receipt to see if the payment was definitely made. If it was and you still don’t have the points, let me know via email and I’ll let you know what info I need to contact tennenouji regarding this.
This question sounded familiar, and upon digging through my inbox I found that I’d emailed them about the same problem. However, the fix was a one time thing. The reason given was a communication error between servers.

It’s the Android version. As far as I can tell I have the latest version of the app, although I’m running it on an emulator, so maybe that’s screwed something up. I’ll send you an email. Thanks very much!
