Happy 2016! There are still 6 hours here, but for many of my viewers, that 5 has already turned into a 6.
I also owe everyone an apology, and I think a short explanation. Honestly, I don’t really like giving explanations or excuses or reasons for my tardiness – personal information aside, the end result is the same. I still haven’t done it yet, and for that I am really really sorry.
Especially to all you contest winners. Jeezus christ how long have I delayed that. I am definitely going to have to check your addresses with all of you. I’m betting about half of you have moved.
As some of you know, I’d projected that the LD translation, that the contest, and that various other translations would be finished early this year. None of that is finished. My only reason is that when I had made those predictions two years ago, I had no idea that I would be in school again and trying to earn another degree. I figured, hey it’s school I can still keep up right? just a page a day right?
Basically the school came and kicked me in the face and told me that I was a stupid fool for thinking I could do anything properly, including school itself.
So, now two years later, I am at my last semester. I can only say I really hope to finish everything in 2016, especially given the influx of visual novels courtesy of JAST and Sekai Project, and also given the recent interview with tennenouji that says they hope to release bad egg+ as the next year anniversary celebration (in June). I guess the highlight of this post is that I swear I haven’t given up on the translation – it will take a while to get back into the mojo, yes, but I will definitely go back to it. I’ve received a few concerned comments in the past few months, and I feel really bad about this whole mess. I can’t apologize enough for being so tardy and stringing everyone along with the last few chapters in Bernardo’s route, and I hope you’re all still interested in reading what there is left when I finish.
So, on a lighter note, merry belated Christmas, happy Hanukkah, happy holidays, and happy new year’s!

Of course we’ll still be interested! Or at least I know I will be. I still read the other routes from time to time. I greatly appreciate your updates, it at least gives us a sense of what’s going on instead of leaving us loosely hanging, guessing on what happened to you! Thank you very much for all you’ve done, and I understand school can be quite time-consuming and stressful. Finish strong!

I believe that everyone who waits for the LD translations are very thankful for your service and you are an amazing, brilliant person for translating it.
Do not be too worried about the translation because translating is very tough and school is difficult while balancing everything else too becomes even harder.

Don’t worry about it. Life happens and it has a way of taking its toll on all of us in different ways, especially when school is involved. ^^ Thank you for letting us know and not giving up on this project. I have to admit, as much as Bernardo’s route is interesting to me, I’m actually looking forward to Luchino’s route more. …maybe ’cause I feel like I understand him least, even though he does show up in the other routes a bit. So I’ll definitely stick around for as long as it takes for you to finish this project. 😉
You don’t have to answer this question seriously or you can just ignore it but I have to wonder: are you translating each of the guys’ routes in order of SIZE…if you know what I mean. (wink wink ;P) Just kidding! Again, thank you for letting us know what’s going on and whatnot. ^^

Haha, naw, I translated the routes in accordance to a walkthrough in one of the Lucky Dog 1 fanbooks. We don’t have concrete stats on the sizes of… … … of their sizes. 😛
